Kyla Kirkpatrick – CEO
As the foremost expert of champagne in Australia, Kyla has been educating on champagne and working in the sector for over 14 years.
Kyla has a Double Degree at Melbourne University with a Commerce Degree and Arts Degree Majoring in Mandarin.
She is an accomplished business woman, outstanding speaker, Master of Ceremonies and was in the running for Telstra Business Woman of the year in 2017 and 2018.
Kyla has a broad range of skills from strategic thinking and mapping, business development and financial acumen.
She is uniquely poised to lead Emperor due to her experience with large technology projects at ANZ to an intimate knowledge of the business of champagne from her experience at LVMH champagne division as well as her consulting practice.
Lucy Edwards – Club Director Asia
Having lived in France for over 15 years, Lucy returned to her hometown of Melbourne in 2009.
She fell in love with champagne when working with grower producers looking to import to Australia, not because of the glitz and glamour but because of the undeniable mix of art and science required to create the world’s most prestigious wines, the dedication to traditional winemaking and the gracious hospitality of the champenois.
Over the past 10 years, Lucy has consulted to houses such as Jacquart, Napoleon, Charpentier, and was a pivotal in driving and developing the Vranken-Pommery Monopole brand in Australia and South East Asia for over 5 years.
Tasha Harp Kennealy – General Manager
With 20 years of senior management experience leading big teams in complex global organisations across Sales, Marketing and Operations within top multinationals including Treasury Wine Estates and Luxottica Retail.
Tasha has been a significant addition to our team. She has extensive experience leading large teams across both Sales and Marketing divisions at a Global, Local and Regional level with an unwavering belief that businesses succeed if you put your people first.
She is a natural born leader with the ability to galvanise teams bringing together business and people to achieve excellent commercial and cultural results.
She is at ease balancing long term strategy, creativity, and short term commercial considerations to solve problems and grow businesses.
Her wealth of experience in commercial negotiations, strategic partnerships and brand building at a global level will be of enormous value as Emperor expands around the globe.
Kyri Christodoulou – Sommelier
Kyri is the Imports & Sales Director for the boutique Emperor Champagne Agency and is responsible for the selection of champagne at Emperor. He is also Emperor’s Champagne Club manager and all-round wine guy
He has a Bachelor of Viticulture & Oenology form the University of Brighton and has over 15 years experience working in the hospitality and wine industry.
