This month we look at two excellent growers and their rather moreish rosé's in the theme - Rosé Exposé. First up is Pierre Gerbais based in the South of champagne in the Côte des Bar in a little town called Celles-Sur-Ource. Aurelien, the young talent at the helm, makes an assemblage style using organic practices in the vineyard and a combination of varieties including Pinot Blanc. Next is the producer Mouzon-Leroux based in the Grand Cru village of Verzenay near the Montage de Reims. His style is 100% macerated pinot noir using Biodynamic practices in the vineyard. Both speak of place and provide a fair bit of discussion too. Club manager Kyri Christodoulou and Lucy discuss the differences between them. Image courtesy of Victor Pugatschew
