This month we look at an increasingly popular champagne style made entirely with white grapes - Blanc de Blancs. This is often made with 100% chardonnay, however it can also contain several other (forgotten) varieties known as Arbanne, Petit Meslier, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris.
The Growers that feature for this edition are Dhondt-Grellet based in Flavigny (near Avize) and made by the talented Adrien Dhondt. Next we have R. Pouillon from Mareuil-Sur-Aÿ which is a 99% rated Premier Cru.
Watch the episode and find out what we think of these two wines.
